Everything you need to know about using Bezelio as a watch collection tracker, service log, accuracy tracker and strap manager.
What is Bezelio?
Bezelio is a private, offline watch collection tracker. It catalogs your timepieces, logs every service, tracks accuracy, manages your strap collection, and reminds you about warranties — all stored locally on your device.
Is Bezelio free?
Yes. The current version of Bezelio is free to download and use. Some advanced features may become paid in the future, but anything you have already entered will continue to work without a subscription.
Does Bezelio sync to the cloud?
No. Bezelio is offline-first by design. Your watch collection data, service log, accuracy readings and photos are stored on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud servers and no third-party analytics SDKs.
How do I back up my collection?
From Settings, you can create a local backup archive. The file is saved to your device or any storage you control, and can optionally be password-protected. Restore the backup on the same device or a new one to recover your data.
What if I lose my backup password?
Backup archives are encrypted with the password you set. We cannot recover lost passwords. Choose a strong password you can remember, and consider storing it in a password manager.
Can I record service history for vintage watches?
Yes. Bezelio's watch service log supports unlimited service entries per watch, including watchmaker, parts, costs, before-and-after accuracy, photos of the receipt, and the recommended next service date.
How does the accuracy tracker work?
You can record either timegrapher readings (rate, beat error, amplitude per position) or real-world rate by setting a reference time and re-checking later. Bezelio computes seconds-per-day automatically and shows trends over time.
Can I track straps and bracelets?
Yes. The strap collection module organizes your straps by lug size, material, color and buckle type, and lets you pair them with the watches they fit.
Will Bezelio remind me about warranties and services?
Yes. Bezelio uses local notifications to remind you about manufacturer warranty expiry, recommended service intervals, battery changes for quartz watches, and any custom reminder you set.
Can I export a PDF report for insurance?
Yes. Bezelio generates a PDF report of your collection — references, serials, valuations, photos and key dates — suitable for insurance, appraisal or estate planning.
Is Bezelio available on iPhone?
Bezelio is available on Google Play today. The iOS version is coming soon — sign up via the contact page to be notified.
How is my data protected?
Your collection is stored locally and can be locked behind a password and biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint). Bezelio does not transmit your collection over the network.
Does Bezelio collect analytics?
No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are embedded in Bezelio. Crash reports may be forwarded by your operating system in aggregated form, which you can disable in your device settings.
Is Bezelio a watch valuation service?
No. Bezelio records valuations you enter for your own reference. It does not provide official appraisals. For insurance or sale, please consult a qualified appraiser.
